High temperature
Often the temperature range of standard pressure reducers is not sufficient for your application. For such applications, various variants of the -HT series are available. This high temperature series is equipped with FKM seals (DRV 6-series EPDM). Thus, a maximum temperature resistance of 190°C (DRV 6-series 130°C) is achieved with FKM seals in combination with metallic internal parts.

Seals
Only FKM seals are used for use at high temperatures. These offer resistance up to 190°C (6-series EPDM up to 130°C).

Wetted parts
For high-temperature applications, only metallic internal parts are used in our pressure reducers of the -HT series.

Body
Depending on the series, the housing parts are made of red bronze (CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C-GS / CC491K, "RG5") or high-alloy cast steel 1.4408. Red bronze has been used for decades in drinking water and seawater applications and is known for its high resistance to seawater corrosion. High-alloy cast steel 1.4408 has a very good general corrosion resistance.

Connections
Our pressure reducers of the -HT series are available in all common connection forms from female thread to male thread and flanged versions.
